To our customers.
In April 2020, Google announced that it must verify the identity of all advertisers using Google advertising ads. As part of this program, advertisements will now contain disclosures with information about the advertiser’s name and country. This should help potential customers perceive the advertising content they see as more reliable and more relevant.
We at Adseo do this for all our customers who have their Google accounts with us. So for all of you who have received this email from Google, and have wondered what this is for, or if this is something you have to spend time on yourself, then this is something we fix for you, so that all accounts have been approved their identity by 10 June 2021.
A little about the process.
In order for the Google ads to continue to be displayed and function as you are used to them doing, documentation about the legal name and legal address must therefore be obtained. This information must be submitted to Google for approval. So this should be initiated sooner rather than later.
The documentation must be confirmed by 10 June 2021.
We at Adseo do this for all our customers who have their Google accounts with us. So for all of you who have received this e-mail from Google, you are taken care of and, in other words, we do this job of confirming your identity for you.
How will this affect my account?
It’s good to see that Google takes the security and reliability of Google Accounts seriously. By having to confirm key information in the Google account, the visible change will be that the advertiser’s country and location will appear in the announcement in your ads. This will give increased credibility, reliability and relevance to the Google advertisement, which in turn will give an advantage to the advertiser.
If you have any questions regarding this e-mail that has been received, just contact us.
The deadline is 10 June, and we are working to get all accounts confirmed by then.
