The declaration contains information you are entitled to when information is collected from our website. In addition, the declaration provides general information about how we process personal data and what rights you have as a registered user.
Purpose of processing: Online statistics using cookies

Adseo AS collects personal information related to the category: Online identifiers, including cookie identifiers, internet protocol addresses, device identifiers and client identifiers.
The purpose of the processing is to prepare statistics and compile reports which we use to improve and further develop the information offered on the website. Examples of what the statistics provide answers to are how many people visit various pages, how long the visit lasts, which websites the users come from and which browsers are used.
The information is processed in de-identified and aggregated form. De-identified means that we cannot trace the information we collect back to the individual user. We collect the entire IP address, but the address is anonymized as soon as it is technically possible. The de-identification takes place by turning the last octet in the IPv4 users’ IP addresses and the last 80 bits in the IPv6 addresses into zeros in the memory as early as technically possible. Complete IP addresses are thus never registered. In addition, the IP addresses are processed on an aggregated level, which means that all data is combined into a group and thus cannot be processed individually.
To do this, the analysis tool Google Analytics is used, which is a web analysis service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies for the purpose described above. The analysis tool Google Analytics places three cookies on your machine (_ga _gid _gat). This is done so that we can collect statistics in accordance with the purpose described above, and expires after 2 years.
The information generated when using redmedia.no, including your de-identified IP address, is sent to Google and stored on servers in the USA. Transfer to Google is in line with the requirements for transfers to third countries under the GDPR because Google LLC is a Privacy Shield company. When a request from redmedia.no comes to Google from ga.js, analytics.js, _utm.gif or /collect, we have added the parameter &aip=1 as additional information in the request. Through this, we have activated de-identification of IP addresses in Google analytics, which means that the information is de-identified as described above. In this way, Adseo AS does not store personal data for a longer period than is necessary for the purpose of the processing.
Google may also transfer this information to third parties if this is required in accordance with law or in cases where third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Google will not link your IP address with other information Google has.

The data subject’s rights:
Adseo AS is unable to identify the registered person. According to Article 11 (2) of the GDPR, it then follows that the provisions in Articles 15-20 do not apply. These are the provisions that regulate access, correction, deletion, the right to demand limited processing and the right to data portability. We have not identified that the processing entails any disadvantages for the privacy of visitors. The data subject has the right to object to the processing of personal data. The right to oppose the processing is done by changing the settings for cookies by following this guide. This is how you manage cookies (nettvett.no) .
The registered person can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority about Adseo AS’s processing of the personal data.
